yeah ,it takes courage.godse was going to be hated by the whole nation for what he did, and he was not going to be feted and revered as a hero like bhagat singh or chandrashekhar azad.

yet he killed gandhi knowing fully well what its consequences would be for not only him,but also his family.

VikingPai, your question puts both Krishna and Gandhi to be made available for public slaying ... Krishna did the same except did not mention in detail exactly what he did with his 24000 wives ... not that I am using that as a measure to grade a person's intelligence or maturity ... none of us can ... but you on the contrary seem to ignore one and capitulate on the other ... You have to bring rationality and even-mindedness in your thinking ... it is never too late, for nature or this existence always brings a person to crossroads where confrontations are bound to happen between paradoxes that we conveniently assume to exalt the other while slaying another at the same time...

do you even know why krishna married his many wives.

you dont even know their number......it is 16,108 ,not 24000.

he married them because a rakshasa had kidnapped and raped them .
once the rakshasa was killed by krishna , these unfortunate ' fallen women ' had nobody to save them ,as they had been 'used ' by the rakshasa.

these women themselves implored krishna to marry them as no-one else was ready to marry them ,and would have been abandoned.

it was an act of social service , and krishna was not using them as sex-toys for any ' experiments with half-baked untruths' like the so called mahatma .
.................
