Actually, 18 km is not really long. There should have been signs every where (i dont see a single one in the videos I was looking at) that they may release water at random times and that people venturing into rivers should do so by their own peril.

When we know there are morons around, what is stopping the officials (?) from posting signs in red, especially near down hills/ falls kind of a set up? It seems like they are too close to the reservoir; else the water wouldnt come at such force.

I hope at least now everyone realize how dangerous unknown waters can be and refrain from going there.

When I was in school, they used to take 10th grade students for a day picnic near a reservoir. One student thought it was an excellent idea to jump into the river. he fell to his death and since then, no more picnics.

Poor parents....
