How you present yourself and convey what you act too.
Narayan Murthy presents himself as some one who can deliver. Else he is of modest height and looks (not sure about voice. never heard him).
Saw Pix of Shibulal and he does not evoke confidence.

Lal Bahadur Shastri was short and not too great looking but hi actions proved he meant business. He also presented himself as more in touch with ground reality of India than grandiose Nehru.

Actually if you look at earlier pix of Big B, he just looks gawky. His voice intro in 'Bawarchi' is nothing compared to his later baritone.

And for Namo and Balasaheb, it is about the confidence they evoke.
