Anil Kumble retires from Test cricket

Thanks Jumbo for all your contributions to Team India over the last two decades. You'll be remembered for your work ethic, bowling with a broken jaw and stitched up fingers, match winner's attitude, being the most successful bowler, 100+ kph leg-spin bowling, and most importantly, sending all 10 pukes back to the pavilion in an innings!

Code:

You're a true champion, and I hope BCCI utilizes your talents in the future to groom the next generation of match winning spinners.

Please also blame Raj Thackrey!!

Since you brought in Marathi and Maharashtrians again, I thought of adding more to your list - Raj Thackrey.

Cool Re: Anil Kumble retires from Test cricket

sir jee,
now that we deviated to "Marathi", let me continue about marathis.
to an extent i support raj and balasaheb. But the violent means to convey their message is not appreciated at all.
Marathis are the master fundamentalists. I find only tamils leading after marathis.
Marathi's love to their language, culture , history is extreme. i actually kind of appreciate it. The pride levels. And feel sorry that my people do not have those levels of pride.

Now that i have so much good opinion about Marathis , so if i say Vengsarkar is 100% chewtiya ..will you not agree with me ?
who is vengsarkar ?? History will remember him as looser ..good for nothing and surviced in indian team due to his Marathi friends in board and team. pawar, gavaskar ...infested with marathi mafia goons.

Are my marathi friends feeling hurt about my comments ? pls tell me.

Re: Anil Kumble retires from Test cricket

Anil Kumble a true legend ...isn't it surprising that the man who has won more test matches for us in the last two decades does not feature in a single ad whereas all tom, dick and harry are selling soaps and soft drinks after one decent performance ..that itself tells the simplicity of the man

One least remembered performance not mentioned by columnists is when Kumble/Srinath won a one-dayer for us against OZs in Bangalore with Kumble 's mother dancing in the stands ..man that was hilarious ...

Thanks Jumbo ..thanks for the memories ...we will miss u

Re: Anil Kumble retires from Test cricket

Jumbo the humble Kumble has retired after a long tiring service to Indian cricket... he was directly responsible for India winning lots of series on home soil... outside subcontinent too he tried as hard as he could... ODI matches he would bowl in the first ten overs sometimes and change the match completely...

perfect gentleman and a typical Kannadiga...

I salute you sir for your Excellent service to Indian cricket...

Re: Anil Kumble retires from Test cricket

Good cricketer with a great commitment and served Indian cricket well and set good records as well. In his prime, he ripped teams apart. Injuries in the recent past have affected his performances. Hats off to Anil Kumble.

18 saal tak usne sab ko chutiya banaya ki woh spinner hai. Actually, he is the best slow medium pace bowler in the history of world cricket.

Are babaji, I never objected to your blasting of Vengsarkar... I have stopped caring about cricket long ago. And now with twenty20 crap, I have completely stopped following cricket. And you can bash not only Vengsarkar but other Marathis in the cricket world too, like Sharad Pawar

I only responded the way I did when you said Marathi mafia instead of BCCi Mafia or something else

Chalo yaar, this whole Raj thing has made us very touchy feely and such touchy feely should happen in Laal Mirchi only
