the publishing phenomeon of amish and chetan

i was busy trying to figure out the sense in the books of Chetan Bhagat and Amish tripathi...and i did found,m not one but a few!!
firstly , they are simple , no morals, no preaching , entertainers; written in everyday language, for the masses and includes a tinge of blind fsatih, may it be, im god(Amish) or system(Chetan).
Secondly, the books are NOT literary and do not claim to be one. they are fun/quick reads, not to b taken seriously, though, they do contain some philosophy.
Thirdly, unlike books, like Sly company(Rahul), books of Amitav ghose or even aporva kala(Life love kumbh) do not claim to be showing off knowledge or spirituality. they are everyday stories about everyday people.
Fourthly, the young gen(Next) lap them up ,becoz they see, their reflections, trials and tribulations in them. the struggle of student life and the dreams of growing up are brought out rather nicely by Chetan.
Lastly, the books are a few hours friend! in times like these a short affair is the call of he hour!!
but of late new authors are coming up who are good in language ideas and depth. time to pull up their socks, Chetan and Amish.
