Anyway, wolf Pai, in case you haven't checked it, Stalin was a Georgian born as Josef Vissarionovich Djugashvilli. He was named Stalin by Lenin apparently. Georgia split along with other SSRs from USSR. 12 of these 15 republics joined CIS. The Baltic republics, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia kept away from this 'Commonwealth of Independent States'.
Stalin through his sheer 'danda' made USSR into a superpower. Kruschev also added science and art. But communist system had the big flaws of state deciding what is good or bad and shoving it down the throats of all. The paradoxes you mentioned in one of your other threads were inspired by communist system. USSR launched first satellite but the grocery stores were all empty.
