In fact, while the Congress is the largest party in terms of voter preference by far, the Shiv Sena and NCP and MNS are running neck and neck with 18%, 18%, and 16% of voter preference
Give some better source man. Congress 56% and MNS-SS-BJP 40% in urban areas of Thane? I don't believe these numbers. This means even if MNS was with SS, congress could have won ? Not possible in Thane urban which is bastion of SS.

Be a politician. Tell your friend oh yes you will vote for MNS.

There are two advantages to this - One: Your real vote will remain a secret from others
Two:Your friendship will continue on the same good grounds because now your friend thinks you have listened to his request.

After elections who cares who wins! Atleast you remain a good friend to your friend

Re: Who will win the maharashtra assembly elections

just about 11 hours left before the elections. The Kangress - NCP now is doing what it does best. Millions of lites of cheap liquor and billions of upees will be distributed as I type this post in.

There are reports that Kangress - NCP candidates are distributing as much as Rs 1000 per vote.

The Kangress and NCP have also played the right caste cards. Be prepared folks for a massive Kangress - NCP victory not just in Maharashtra but also Arunachal and Haryana.

Sonia will smile on Oct 22 2009 when the senseless activity of vote counting takes place.

I must say Indian voters are extremely honest and our politicians are so gullible if they think a secret ballot can be bought by liquor and money. I seriously wonder how it works.

Most likely the MNS candidate got enough votes to defeat the Shiv Sena candidate you voted for, thus allowing Congress NCP candidate to win due to splitting of votes.
