Evil HR

Long time back. One guy in z cyber coolie co gets an offer, goes to HR and tells them, 'I have got another offer. Can you do something about it?'
HR ladies- 'show us the offer. We will see what we can do.'
He gives the offer letter to them and they call up the other co and tell them that he is negotiating with them. Of course the guy also should have been wiser.

Any more such incidents you can remember.

That is 'shanpatti'. He also should have known that the HR head was a 'Dedh Shaani'.

Moral of the story is- don't give too many details.

Re: Evil HR

I heard some over eager tech recruiters were checking on contractors by calling the company they presently working in.

Like you apply for a contract job through them, you say you working at ABC company. They call reception and ask for you. If course it doesn't work for southies with initialized names like Karthik D. or Venky S.
