Re: Happy New Year

I have always thought this calendar imposed by the Christian world order is kind of stupid.

^ Karein bhi toh kya,..? Hamaare Hindu O' mein koi consistency hi nahin hai,..
Har koi ka, naya baras alag-alag hai,...
kahin Diwali waala last din hai,..... kahin Holi walla last din hai, baras ka.

Toh,.. Log bhi Ishu ke deewaane ho gaye,...
The time Ishu was born, the "year system" had started, and till today,... we write the same dates of Calendar,..

Year 2017, simply means.......... from today, 2017 yrs ago, Jesus Christ was born,..

Bechaare hamaare Ram or Krishna ki toh koi hasti hi nahin rahi,... prati-din, yaad karne ko,..

Re: Happy New Year

Bulk follow the same calendar but the new years are different. In a few states it is on Ugadi (it is actually from Yugaadi beginning of time). It is in Mid April in many cases.

My funda is simple - Indian new year is for prasad and pooja. Angrezi new year is for Angrezi.

The way I understand and concluded…….. is smwhat like this,…

They are on Earth-Sun basis,..
The Earth revolves around the Sun in 365 days, a round…… so let say,…..letting it granted as 365 net days, for time-being,.. and later, every four years, by adding it as a leap year,… they make February of 29 and the year of 366 days and resolves that error !

Now ours is on Moon-Earth basis,.. Moon rotating around the Earth basis,..
So,… Moon takes 28 days for one revolution around earth,… But we
count net 30 days of any and all of the months,…

So, to solve and resolve that error,.. we add two choth, teeth, fok ( padtar )divas ( null day ),... and such adjustment to stretch that 28.5 days to 30 days,….
Sometimes even adding the whole full month ( adhik Shravan month – two shravan month in the Calendar ) so that the ending of Diwali – last day of calendar still falls on full amavasya,
and no "Baloney" happens,.. ( means you call it amavasya( no moon ) …. and still there is half moon you see in the sky )

The point is,.. our calendar itself makes it to difficult due to this, to follow our dates with, when these baloney happens of solving that 1.5 day of missing error EACH month. .
Think over,.. if two dates are same of two different days in a checkbook !!

With me ?

.....

Did you read and understand my second line. It makes the first line irrelevant.

Re: Happy New Year

Nonetheless, I am also answering Kavi Dinkar’s poem,.. that, why and how, we kept on believing in the new year ( 1st Jan. ) and firangii’s calendar,.. and somehow could not adapt our own calender system in practice, even after the British gone,..

Re: Happy New Year

Somehow that's da Karun Kathani of India. We have 28+ languages and still the foreign Firangii language,... English is the only one, who joins us all, and keeps us combined, united and understandable to each other...

Southie sootiye, 80 percent log in each southern states,.. does not know our own mother tongue Hindi, even.

Have you seen a single foot-rule or a Clock
having it's numerals written in either Hindi / Gujarati / Marathi / Bengali ??????? I have not. Our currency notes and coins have numbers in English ! What a Pity !

If Hindi is the mother-tongue of all Indians then there wouldn't have been 28+ languages in India now, would it There would have been just one language, Hindi. So your statement that south Indians do not know their own mother tongue is incorrect now, isn't it

Assuming this long post was in response to my post (you were ranting... so did not read your post completely)... I completely agree with you. But it still does not make you right. Hindi is not the mother-tongue in the southern states... nor is it in most of the northern states. Had it been then there would have been only one language in India. Accept this fact... or keep on ranting
