sindhi is already a small word, why shorten it?
I actually guessed punju for punjabi, although I hate that word.

Sindhis are fond of calling others as 'arey sai'. Also they are devotees of sai baba .

Sai actually means God from the times of Kabir. doubt if the Sindhi Context has to do with Sai Baba. Currently, Gults seem to be the biggest chunk of devotees of Sai Baba.
'Sai Baba' liiterally translates to 'God Father'.

Sindhis are devotees of a Great Sufi Saint of 12th Century, to whom they refer as 'Jhulelal'

Many are devotees of both.
From Hyderabad, Shirdi is slightly closer than Tirupati.
Tirupati is also the visiting place for many. You hear Hindi, Marathi and quite a bit of Tamil while waiting in the long queues.

Re: The Curious Case of Advani

To Put in in perspective, LKA is 8 years older than Shashi Kapoor.

It is a great achievement that Advani has been able to walk on his feet into his 80s.
