And what is he ? A computer doolha (bridegroom) in India?

But he says that it is his love and patriotism for his motherland that forced him to sacrifice his glorious carrier in Umrika.

Re: Layoff season

One crore in india is like just Only 154 k in US .

Talented and smart Indian techies easily earn 250 to 300k per annum in Umreika.I know many here and elsewhere who are earning that much apart from their wifes earnings.

Better to live in America at even 100k than to live in India at just one crore.Heck I would prefer and recommend living in America at even 60k than in India at one crore. The worst American places to live that provide even 60k opportunities are far better than the best Indian places providing one crore.

Unless one is earning 6 crore plus in India it doesnt shines in India the way it shines in Umreika.A gangu tayli in Umreika is in a far better , superior and advantageous position than a Raja Bhoj in India.

One crore in India can help one buy an American glass but not the American class.Once in todays date if you cross the 6 crore barrier in India you have your personal America in India.

Out of 6 crores , 2 crore goes in taxes and you are left with 4 crore ie 33.3333 lacs white income per month ie a little more than one gaddi of thousand rupee notes daily ie 1.1111 lacs daily.

Welcome to the upper middle class in India ie the Raja Bhojs of India at 6 crores per annum.

Lower upper class in India starts at 60 crores per annum.

Middle upper class starts at 600 crores assets.

Higher upper class starts at 6k crores assets.

The stinkingly rich ie the Raja Rams of India rule at or above 100k crores assets.

This is my personal classification of financial classes in India.

Re: Layoff season

Is recession coming soon again to USA? Why because a big company I work for has many layoffs recently.

Are you knowing anything? I think most members are from Indian IT.

What's the company name? We can check our list to confirm.

What is the list you have? Intel has layoffs many employees even PhD holders. I hear job market is not good last 2 month. One more recession so soon will be bad news

I am having hard time in understanding what you r saying but reason of government action is that another company laid off us citizens and hired h1b holders employed by these companies.
