Re: 3d printer

I have bought and built an Ultimaker Original+

I was mostly convinced by the print volume (8x8x8) -- although I dont think I've ever printed anything that big yet. It has been pretty good so far. My son uses it as a hobby and designs and sells things to his school buddies. Also uses it to make little custom parts for his robotics team.

How many jobs will be lost in near future due to 3D printers and similar technologies ?
People will make their own tools, screws, nails, crockery etc

Thats how it is. How many nautankis, puppetteers, etc. lost their jobs due to 'bi-scope'.
