Re: Death is no answer: Amnesty International
I agree. Death is not the answer.

![]() Leaving them in the jails for years is also not a perfect solution. Public must respect human beings & avoid doing crimes.
Financial punishment may be the alternatives. ![]() |

Re: Death is no answer: Amnesty International
I too agree death is not the answer here. Why can't they be castrated... and then used for medical and scientific experimentation

Re: Death is no answer: Amnesty International
Death is a scare tactic.
Future offenders should think twice before committing a crime. Life imprisonment ensures free food, clothes ,shelter and official protection. Then many get their jail term reduced .some go out on paroles and commit another crimes.Infact these days even internet is available to prisoners. Wow!! Life is good inside a jail too. Capital punishment is the best punishment for pre planned murders/ rapes. |

Re: Death is no answer: Amnesty International
Death penalty is a closure. Does Amnesty want the society to carry the burden of the criminals for years ?? It's ok so long as it is used in 'rarest of rare' cases, like this one.
Let's notice that Amnesty has neglected to give an alternative. They have not said what punishment should be awarded. Instead they have taken up the endless issue of "reforms" etc. |

Re: Death is no answer: Amnesty International
This maha chutiya organization, Amnesty International, only rakes up controversies and does Ad campaigns with big celebrities to enjoy their company, I guess.. I have never heard of any worthwhile things done by them.
I am totally appalled by this disgusting photo-shopped picture of The Dalai Lama they have used for a anti-torture campaign. As somebody who holds Dalai Lama in very high regard, I wish I could protest against this blasphemy. What can be achieved other than some media publicity? No real ground realities will change with this ad. ![]() An image of Tibet's exiled leader is paired with the line, "A man who does not have a Rolex watch at 50 years old has failed in his life." ![]() Quote:

Re: Death is no answer: Amnesty International
The only crime deterrent is a swift and severe repercussion to the crime committed. Don't politicize. Give police 100% authority to take action right after the crime is committed. Once the crime is proved, give them capital punishment. Yes, that will work. Torturing people will only cost you time/money/resources. These people dont deserve it. OK, maybe not hang but give them lethal injections. Do this to the first 200 people who rape others and you will see a drop in the crime rate.
Get the situation under control first. Then we can slowly work towards educating people/ teaching them how to respect women etc. That will take 20 years and upwards. |
