Question Who would you save? Mother, spouse, sibling?

Say your mother, spouse and sibling are on a boat. The boat is about to sink and none of them can swim. There are no life-jackets, no other safety devices present. You are the only one who can swim and you can save only ONE of them.

Who do you save? And why?

Is this question being asked of a man or woman? Also, is the sibling male or female? How old is the sibling?

Forget saving bro, the first thing I will do in such a situation is kill myself first

Re: Who would you save? Mother, spouse, sibling?

I will give the youngest a crash course in swimming (5 min tips) and let him take next youngest family member with him/her....I will save the remaining person...

What does it matter? Suppose its you and your mother, your wife and your sister. Now think and answer...

It does matter. If no one else has any hope of surviving, I will take the youngest. Or I will take the one the family depepnds on the most. Or any number of other situations. It all depends on the circumstances of each individual.

All esle being equal, save the youngest. They have the most to lose.

save the one you can carry with you . You need to have the traction to swim and the least heavier the better

And while you're at it, build another boat as well. That way no one has to swim or die. Actually, build a 120 foot yacht so you can go back to shore in style.

Who do you save? And why?
Given the situation.
Assuming two guys, mom and wife.
Mom would never like if she was saved before her other son or daugther-in-law.
Teach brother how to use his legs, to stay afloat as long as possible and help mom at the same time.
Take wifey to shore and hope to come back and save bro and mom.
Choosing wife over bro cause if there is one man standing in the family he can take care both the families.
