I re-read the puzzle. Your english is poor man. The puzzle is flawed.

It should read like this: Husband & Wife went for a picnic. They have 4 children & 4 grandchildren. Each girl as 1 sister & 2 brothers and each boy HAS double the number of sisters than brothers. How many males & females in the picnic.

If that's the case, total number of people are: 2+4+4 = 10

1 girl has 1 sister and 2 brothers = 4 log toh yahin ho gaye!! Same with grandchildren.

Khatam!

Yeah... unless there are some weird incestuous relationships within this family.

Boy ! Common sense is most uncommonly found ! Isn't it ?

Clarity : ( My assumptions, for solving this, in non-clarity area. )
1. You said : " Each girl as 1 sister & 2 brothers " [ The mis-spelled word is HAS, as it does not make sense in the statement, otherwise ]

2. No Complex relationship of Husband Wife / Shemale / Bi / two wives, multi partner -marriages / LGBT - Baloney is permitted here

3. No langugae trick is allowed that only H and W had went to the picnic,..so only two persons, - one male One Female.

4. Husband is also considered under " Boy " category and wife is also as a "girl " regardless of the age.

5. Husband's Brothers and Sisters and Wife's Brothers and sisters are not married internally themselves or externally.

6. First generation's honey and hubby / spouse did not go for the picnic.

7. Second generation is unmarried.

----

Having said that,.. Answer will be Total 16, 8 Males, 8 Females.

Br, Si, Si, H <---> W, Si, Br, Br

G, G, B, B,

G. G, B, B

Husband has two sis and one brother joined.
Wife has one sis and two brotheres joined.
First generation is themselves as, two Brothers and two sisters
Seccond generateion is themselves as two brothers two sisters.

Now look at all red letters once again, and it will comply with,...

Husband & Wife went for a picnic
They have 4 children & 4 grandchildren. ( assumed, they also joined HnW )
Each girl Has 1 sister & 2 brothers ( assumed, they also joined HnW )
each boy has double the number of sisters than brothers

-------

* A is the father of B, but B is not the son of A. What was their relationship.
* A said to B, " I do not have any brother or sister, but your father is the son of my father ", what was their relationship.
* John's mother had four sons, one was Mr A, other Mr. B, third Mr. C who was the fourth one?
* Two persons going on a scooter, the front one said, Your mother in law is the daughter of my mother in law - what was their realtionship.
*વહુ કોના બાપ ની?

And,. we all know the answers, as we were doing these in the kindergartens.
