now, i checked out 2011 census and found that one in six of Indians is also from UP. i hold no brief for 'Ulta Pradesh', but the news item tries to say that the problem is limited to UP.

During the cigarette ad discussions in NDTV also they used to throw numbers like so many Lakh people die due to tobacco every year. And how many die of other causes

well this is not a bubble.Sometimes even MLAs can be in involved in stalling a train.A not so usual news. so sharing it.

In a second thought,why it can,t be so,after all most of the attacks on toll nakas in maharashtra in recent tines were carried out by a political party.


Nanded MLAs stall train for 55 minutes

AURANGABAD: The Mumbai-bound 17058 Devagiri Express was allegedly stalled by a group of MLAs from Nanded for 55 minutes on Monday after their tickets under the MLA quota were not confirmed by the railways.

While other passengers on the train were left fuming, the railway authorities remained mute spectators. The delay disrupted the schedule of trains across railway stations till Mumbai.

Long back, my train got delayed by 1-2 hours by some protesting BJP workers.

One news was that there was an NSUI convention in Nagpur and the NSUI guys were travelling in the Chhatisgarh express. They were just looting the vendors at whichever station the train halted. The train got renamed to 'Lootmaar express'. Apparently, some one threw a plate at Margaret alva. A few years later similar feats were repeated in a Flight to then USSR when the same bunch was going for a 'Youth festival'. Apart from similar activites by rest of the gang, there was a photo of Anand Sharma dancing with a Russian girl, but i cannot find it anywhere now.
