Re: What could be the problem with the car?

It could have been a lot cheaper..

A six pack of hinky or bud or a half bottle of potent vodka inside the driver usually fixes such problems.

Rakhiji ... were you able to find the cause of trouble with your motor Nissan Pintara?

No Badriji, while we were able to fix the car's vibration when driving below 20 kmph, it still would shake a little while doing around 120. But managed it anyway for few years as i normally stay below 120 even on highway.
Ended up buying a minivan (and t-boned...dont even ask).

@ Pintara.. I too had one of these a few years ago.. wasn't too bad in retrospect except in the Arizona heat it would take quite long for the A/C to be effective.

My car used to get like a Nitro boost when I switched off the A/C while accelerating on the highway.

Most motors will shake at 120 ... unless heavy enough to resist. Rakhiji, you drive below 120 ... so close to 100+? ... not bad. Chinese women generally drive at 40 in 100 zone ... specially in Vancouver.

Among all, Pintara and some stupid Ford model gave me most trouble ... least reliable motors.

This is so disappointing. You too? Word Car is feminine ... Rakhiji can. Swamiji, Jaispeak and, rest of the members with feminine inclinations can be forgiven for using the word CAR ... not us. WE the man, the Macho-Men likes of us must refer to it as a MOTOR. Just cause we get to hobnob with them is no reason for us to adopt their perversions ... we must remain male.

badri pai.. she must be referring to metric system (120 Km/hr i.e. ~74 mph) followed in Canada (I spell checked a few times to make sure ) and pretty much everywhere else except in the US

come to think of it.. not changing to metric system from imperial system is costing US highly. 3 digits instead of 2 for temperatures.. having to convert all the technical papers to metric for intl. symposiums/conferences.

everybody have their own pet peeves.. I get irked if somebody pronounces Chandigarh as Chan-thee-garh (th like in 'thou') instead of Chan-dee-garh, most desis do.
