From the 2nd article..
Yes Sarvi, I can say its quite true. Some of the brits are really good cooks too. They can make better dal makhni than I do! If you ever happen to visit London, dont miss Veeraswamy restaurant in Regent St. Out of the world Indian food. Have to call them weeks in advance to get reservations. This was the case at least a few years ago.

Years ago, an office dinner for about 10-12 of us came to some 1000+ Pounds (including Spirits). It was in 'Benares' in Berkley square (a posh area in west end which had among other things a Rolls Royce showroom and... an Air India office!). Of course, on my own, i frequented places where they used to sell a pint of Carlsbeg for a Pound

Now, my thing is that my taste buds hardly work and almost all the food is good for me, so would not be able to comment whether any food was good.

Poor better half. Her legendary culinary skills are all wasted on me.

Re: Indian food is scientifically delicious

Traditional British cooking though is not rated highly at all.

Remember the good old adage:

Quote:
A great life is an American salary, Indian (or Asian) wife, British house (mansion with 20-30 servants) and Japanese cooking.
The corollary is:

Quote:
The worst life is an Indian salary, American wife, Japanese house and British cooking.

This guy sure loves Indian food. And he seems to have made himself immune by eating out of street for a long time.

Interesting. I actually put an appreciating comment and this guy got back to me. Hsvent checkied on YouTube with my log in after that. My TV YouTube is without s log in.

BTW, I used to get similar suggestions after I watched one Rajiv Dixit video, i.e. all Rajiv Dixit videos used to show up.
