halo re halo!!!! so, garba/dandiya night i went to this past weekend had a live orchestra where they played gujju numbers mostly. dandiya'ing to bollywood numbers seems like a myth songs played had a mix of slow & classic dandiya beats .. i don't think I've ever heard 'em before. song that stayed with me stuck in my head was "suhana safar aur yeh mausam haseen" we had a wonderful time - tho something tells me your evening was better than mine :winkwink:

Visit Wembley and you find Gujarat. One gujju friend randomly picked a person and asked directions in Gujju and found a respons back in Gujju.
That is where probably KKKK Pai had the Dandiya.
How did it Go?

no, not in wembley unfortunately this time. Too expensive now-adays, too far to go and too much hassle. what we did was between some friends/families, we got a hall for ourselves, did our own thing.

It was great, everybody had fun without the tension of how good or bad were we.

East Ham. Mahalaxmi Temple.
Near Wembley, you have Swami Narayan temple in Neasden.
