Elections 2017

Elections have been declared in UP,Punjab,Uttrakhand,Goa and Manipur.

How do you think BJP will do in these states.

I think UP and Punjab can be tough for BJP, Punjab can see a congress govt with or without Aap support.Current split in Samajwadi party can change the equation which can affect the poll strategy of BJP.
Goa is easy for BJP,same with Uttrakhand. The polls in Manipur can be in BJP's favor if Sarna is given a free hand.

Re: Elections 2017

As far as BJP is concerned in UP Election 2017 Congress and Samajwadi party have joined hands and will be making joint government. This joining of Samajwadi party and Congress will hurt BJP a lot in UP Elections. Lets see what will happen waiting for the election.

Re: Elections 2017

The official Cong SP alliance was announced only yesterday or so.
That opens the door for a BJP BSP alliance.
ABP news (which i nowadays get on Yupp TV) was collecting reactions and what do they do. They go near a masjid and get the reactions from peaceful people there. Many were enthusiastic about the election. Only peaceful guy sounded skeptical and the reporter moved quickly to another guy. @presstitute

Re: Elections 2017

Coming to Punjab,
i remember in 80s, it was the richest state in India and had twice the per capita income of the country.
Now, Haryana, Tamil nadu, Gujarat and Telangana are all ahead of Punjab.

Is it due to 'fantastic rule of Badals' as Ungal pai refers to or the drugs or something else like Punjab missing otu on Cyber coolie Boom.

Re: Elections 2017

What about the terrorism in Punjab during the 80s and early 90s? This force all the industry out and still very little has come back.. I know for a fact that Badals have been working hard on this.. but results are not showing yet. What options do you have .. Khalistan supporter and useless AAP or nincompoop corrupt Congress.

^^
Here is one article on Punjab's decline (relative)
http://businessworld.in/article/Punj...2-2017-112433/

One of the google results was blaming China for Punjab's decline.

Re: Elections 2017

one wonders if the sikh religion has outlived it's usefulness . it was a defender of india's borders in the past but now the armed forces have a calculated policy of not allowing too many sikhs in the armed forces due to separatism . many sikhs are into this separatism and the drug addiction problem in punjab is mainly among sikhs .
