Finding some one may take a while...I have already sent some gifts [$] for them back home...Could a Pandit in the local Temple tie it for me?

Re: Happy Rakshabandhan

I was searching for a good gift for Raksha Bandhan and was amazed with some items Amazon listed as "Gifts for Women" ..

some silly/stupid stuff .. like porn for women, vibrators and stuff .. like seriously is amazon becoming ebay?

And then I found this .. FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE - AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED 07/21/1888 .. listed at nine grand

Re: Happy Rakshabandhan

I sent rakhi's back home this year and lately the prices have gone up and the quality of the rakhi's have gone down. My brother called me to thank me for the Rakhi I had sent...turns out, the same Rakhi is availbale for Rs.20 there. They charged $20.

Did you buy from Indian grocery store, and mail it yourself?

you know you can order online via some website and it would cost at least half ($10) with a box of sweets. Plenty of websites .. google it .. send rakhi to india

I see this one for $14 .. has a cup, sweets and rakhi.
