Re: Do Indians not care about Diwali anymore?

NO no it does not effect by one time exposure or even a few times.. just avoid it anyway.. don't worry.. keep things such as matches away from food.. some folks have the habit of hiding match boxes or books in daal ka dabba kinds.. don't. I am not trying to worry you to wits end.. I am just saying avoid such things. Food is food.. rest is NOT food.. keep them that way.

carcinogens increase he risk they do not give it "guaranteed" but they are a factor.

Biggest of them are sulphates, phospates, mercury, bismuth, lead..there are others but then the list is very long.

To bataa diyaa. Ab bache ki jaan lega kyaa?

Melly pai... I said worse than poison.. saala poison khaa liyaa fittus ho gayaa public royi das din.. baat khatam.. ye penchor cancer roj roj rulaata hai pai.. trust me, it takes you to a situation where your prayers take a U turn. Instead of praying to god please spare.. or please cure them you actually start asking him to take them away their pain is totally unwatchable. It efffects everyone around the patients mentally, physically and emotionally man. I cannot describe the feeling.. there are no words for thta.

YUP i did quit it and did not smoke for a long time even though I used to accompany friends to the bar..it started cos of my owh idiocy but I HAVE to point a finger to ward off the blame on myself...so that culprit was utter boredom.

Remember NY blackout, that day while waiting for a ferry, there was nothing to do..cant go to a bar with friends as all their appliances wee kaput as most ran on electricity, can't get home, traffic was all screwed up as traffic lights went off, trains wont work etc etc.. chewtiye jaise iine me khade rahe to get across hudson for hours at end.. desi eshtyle sitting on the road with few desi consultants singing idiotic songs like we used to do in indias amusing the goras and goris etc.. bore bore bore.. when a friend offered me a ciggi.. I thought what the heck why not.. chalo aaj maar lete hain phir nahi maarenge.. saala galti.. sher ke muh mein khoon lag gayi.. started all over again I will quit again once I get a tad busy and after my surgery and such is over.. yaar I am not held by any adiction though.. I quit at will.. daru shaaru I quit 3 years ago.. then had a couple of bears some 5 months ago then none.. ciggi also I have quit for months off and on..so aisa koi poblem nai hai.. my system is, karo to fultu karo or don't at all.. no point doing a half ass job.

Re: Do Indians not care about Diwali anymore?

Menthol brand does not matter.. where I am, charms menthol is the one avail easily and then there are classic, and more menthol.. I use charms menth when available if not classic.. Number vo to subjective hai.. I do not smoke the whole ciggi.. few puffs and that is that.. at that rate, some times a pack of 10 at most 12.. lighter is what I use.. not zippos that wind proof one avail for 30rs or so.. works for 5 refills and its mechanism starts acting up.. throw and get a new one.. machis is pain in the arse..
