Sherlock

I'm watching the BBC TV Series Sherlock on Netflix.

It is really good. The stories are set in current times, but it preserves the integrity of the characters. The difference I found from the original is that Moriarty - who is Sherlock Holmes' arch enemy - plays a bigger role. He is practically in every other episode.

Worth a watch.

ok.. cool, its a different one then.. will check it out.

The one I posted is the classic portrayal very true to the writing and the times. Its also a super one that played on BBC long time back, you can find pretty much all the episodes on youtube.

I was a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes show with Jeremy Brett. He was fantastic. This guy Benedict Cumberbatch does a very good job too.

The one that came on DD was with Jeremy Brett. I'm not talking about that one. This is a new BBC series with Benedict Cumberbach, which is available on instant streaming on netflix.

Having watched Jeremy Brett play Sherlock Holmes so perfectly , all other actors look like Holmes wannabe
