TCS a HINDU hating Company????

just received it in mail.
Quote:
HR dept in TCS barred Sri U. Narsaiah and Sri Krishna Mohan Perika
who had taken Swamy Ayyappa deeksha from coming to office in their
deeksha vastras which is the black dress and bare feet; All this in
the name of dress code!! - One of the team member of a Project came
in Ayyappa dress - when the HR manager, himself a Hindu, objected.
Many other Ayyappas simply followed suit.

It must be noted that within TCS many Muslims come in Pyjama, topi
and burqas. During Ramzan, some places were marked as special for
prayers but when the same was asked for Dasami Navaratri Puja and
Harathi, permissions were withdrawn; During Christmas, many IT
companies including TCS celebrate it officially. When asked why,
they responded that Christmas is a global festival.

Can we spread this message far and wide and put more pressure on IT
companies ?

any comments???

The same is the case within many other IT companies including
Infosys, where coming in tie is compulsory. Many countries across
the world are recognising that tie and blazers in office increase
the usage of airconditioning, thus leading to global warming and are
doing away with it.( refer
http://www.reuters. com/article/ environmentNews/ idUSL17801538200 70717?
feedType=RS\ S); But in India, i.e., Bharat the IT companies simply
do not want to listen.

Its time to make IT companies respect and recogize the
Indian culture. Why cant there be an exception to the Tie,Blazer as
Business dress culture ?

Are these companies meant for intellectuals or simply to ape ?

Can we spread this message far and wide and put more pressure on IT
companies ?

I see nothing anti-Hindu here on part of the HR manager who’s simply enforcing a proper dress code in his workplace.

During engineering days, My HOD who’s a Brahmin turned back two students who walked into the chemistry lab in a similar attire & appearance. He simply told them to come dressed in a proper shirt, trousers & shoes on. The students obliged then & came properly dressed the next day.

Switching to a proper dress as required by one’s place of work is right work ethics & should be followed as required by the company than bring religion into the picture.

Nothing bad here.

The chemistry lab anology can be accepted based on safety factor. I can even accept the TCS issue if these folks were going to be customer facing and would affect TCS's bottomline. But if they were just individual contributors, TCS has no business barring them. Even the first point regarding customer facing is arguable. If a burkha clad person can take up the job, why not a person in Ayyappa clothing.

If you allow Muslims to perform prayers just because its Eid or Ramzaan, then you have to allow Hindus too!

Re: TCS a HINDU hating Company????

I agree I use to think Hindus are self critical and hence destroyed..

now I moved from Dallas to London and find christians here following our footsteps... and hence muslims fcuk them here in England.

Either muslims ( a relatively new religion) will follow the suit or fuck Hindus and christians before doing that...

no body knows....

But I am happy with strong Rs ...some of these corporations will now have to hire smart people rather than drones in numbers. Once smart people come in..usually smart decisions are not very far...

either such stupid firms will turn intelligent or not exist....it is the transition which sucks ( sorry for copying Shiv Sainik)
