Amazon Prime/HBO/Showtime movies worth watching!

Here's my list of movies that are worth watching on Amazon Prime.

Movies-
1. The Reader (Kate Winslet, Ralph Fiennes)
2. The Words (Bradley Cooper)
3. The Truman Show (Jim Carrey)
4. Fatal Attraction (Michael Douglas)
5. The Silence Of The Lambs (Jodie Foster)
6. The Accused (Jodie Foster)

That's all I can think for now.

bastards intentionally made sure it can work only with Amazon casting devices. I have a Google Chromecast which it didn't work with.

read my previous comments about it.. http://www.echarcha.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=427

Re: Amazon Prime/HBO/Showtime movies worth watching!

ok, got it. mine is Samsung Smart TV- downloaded the app & there it was. i have one in the kitchen which isn't a smart tv but i have a WiFi dvd player which works equally good. if you aren't planning on buying a new tv, get a dvd player (if you are interested at all only then that is). i have baba azum ka wide screen TV in the basement, alright?! WiFi dvd works well there too. i hope you understand what I'm saying

p.s. in short- I'm a movie buff & have everything playing everywhere in the house

ok, forgot to mention this, so .. tv & dvd have in built apps right? right! i have LCD hdmi monitor in my library which i connect to my iPad using hdmi adapter. that works too. the only drawback is not having a remote unless you plan on buying one. not having a remote for iPad i mean.

Re: Amazon Prime/HBO/Showtime movies worth watching!

I don't see any sense in buying a smart tv. In less than 50 bucks (chromecast) my decent tv becomes smart, almost anything (other than Amazon) can be cast with my tab or phone or even laptop acting as a remote and anybody in my home can add to the playlist.

ah! glad to know that works for you. i can't multi-task .. i just can't :-( can't have my eyes on the tv & the tab & my kindle at the same time .. that is jus' so strenuous on the eyes, plus i get distracted very easily & then i don't enjoy anything .. i don't like that. so, that's where my universal remote comes in handy .. bliss!

that can happen ONLY if you keep flipping channels like a squirrel. You set something up, cast it and watch for duration of the video.

baba, i never flip through channels . i think, i flip through devices (if that makes any sense) if I'm watching something & find my tab/kindle/laptop lying besides me? I'll watch some tv, then google some crap, try to increase my faltu gk & so on & so forth. then i get all scatter brained

p.s. i kinda relate to this one from YJHD my most fave of all times!
