Lightbulb

vakil sahib,
u are missing out something very "specific syndrome" about our desi ommunity.a syndrome often i have seen among many desis.

gultis are a "civilization" in US. Tamils are a "civilization" in South east asia. Mallus are a "civilization" in Middle East.
blah .blah.blah
"civilization" i mean to say , vast amount of homogenous population with all good & bad apples together in a place.
and people who do not belong to these "civilizations" , try to throw some hate pshit around them.

it is ridiculous & cheap !
It is not at all decent !
Uncultured behaviour from a fellow desi who thinks himself better than his country men.
A desi suddenly lands in US and tries to copy a white man's behaviour, masters it, and calls his fellow desi not meeting up to standards of "US manners" .
A "Polished Behaviour" syndrome !

anyway ..they are all my thoughts. no one need to agree with me.

friends ..Please keep posting your thoughts about gultis. They are interesting.

I never heard this term "gulti" before. Is it common? And is it considered offensive?

Write "Telegu" in Tamil, Hindi, Gujrati or whatever language you grok. Then read it backwards. You get "Gu" "le" "ti" a.k.a "Guleti" a.k.a. "Gulti". At least that's the explanation I heard .
