Re: Tougher Chess Puzzles (force several moves and win)
I think this is what LB solution is trying to say. Again I am not sure, so if I am wrong somewhere then correct me
Black (B): Qg3 White(W): Qg3 (kills B's Queen) B: Ne2 check W: Kh1 B: Ng3 check (kills W's Queen) W: Kg1 B: Ne2 check At this point this is what the board looks like Also remember LB solution says that Black is one N (Knight) up. Is this the solution? When B Queen moves to g3, white can choose to ignore the queen and go one attack of its own, but in order to remove the queen, white has to use his Queen, and the solution after that makes sense until it reaches the bold part. Even after bold part, why will white give up?

Re: Tougher Chess Puzzles (force several moves and win)
SunnyBhau, it is not my solution ... it was the IM or GM did in that particular situation ... We may have to really smart to figure it out ... I am know I am not ... but it is worth a try

Sunny bhau, white resigns because of material inferiority. Black goes one knight and one pawn up. This was not really a puzzle that leads to a definitive checkmate .. just establishing a position of superiority. There are several ways to achieve this, I guess.

Guys...do me a favor...each time you introduce a problem....number it...like Problem 1 or Challenge 1....and when solved...write solved
![]() In that way, I don't end up butting my head against a solved problem ![]()
