Security features in bank cheques.
Today I decided to scan a cheque that I had received. On scanning I found something in the jpeg file that is not visible to the naked eye. There is "VOID" written across a security strip.
 Is this a security feature ? What other security features do physical cheques have ? or have I received a bogus cheque

Scan another cheque and see if this one is bogus or both show void
