Well, its as good as gone then. just curious to know if you still manage to get the weight loss.

I am not accustomed to any particular food. So managed to get this going for the whole week. Only instead of Beef, i had tandoori Chicken.

White bread? Are you serious?

White bread is a big no-no when you want to lose weight.

I will be Fasting from tomorrow InshaAllah. I am not following up this GM diet guys. Good luck everyone!

All the best for your fasting, but is it not supposed to start today. In fact one of my friends started yesterday ( he puts in a factor of safety and starts 1 day before and ends one day after Ramzan).

Fasting means what for you?

You don't eat the whole day. Then you have one meal. Is that it?

They eat something at dawn before the prescribed time for starting the fast. Then they don't eat or drink ANYTHING till the sundown (whatever the prescribed time of breaking the fast).

For breaking the fast, they usually take something light & sweet. Traditionally they break the fast with dates.

This is followed later by the dinner.

Not easy, these ramazan fasts. Also, they do lose a lot of weight in the 30 days of "nirjal upawas".

Trust me some people lose weight. Jo junk nahi khate ya andha dhund khana peena nahi shuru kar dete as soon as they are allowed to eat .

If you stop here, won't your weight go back up?
How are you planning to keep your weight at the present level - just curious.

Great going. Hope that you dont gain back thge weight.

My 3.5 kg loss in 2003 was a bit of a cheat. I weighed myself before the program after actually gulping down a pitcher!

I am actually on an app called fitness pal. For me to maintain my current weight, I have to make sure I dont go over my prescribed level of calories. I am also brisk walking (only) 2 miles a day, which I think should help a little.
