Thumbs up Muslims beat up muslims supporting India !!!

Even when muslims back India, there are some ppl in their community out to create problems !!

----
KOLKATA: A large number of Muslim students celebrating Sachin Tendulkar’s breathtaking batting on Saturday, were beaten up in their hostel by a handful of ‘criminal elements’, the students alleged in an FIR they lodged with the police. Tarif Hussain, a second year student of Chemistry (Hons) at Maulana Azad College, is now back from the hospital. He was the one who received the most serious beating after students began rejoicing over Tendulkar’s scintillating knock against Pakistan.

The college principal, Madhusudan Saha, on Monday asked for a police picket outside the Baker hostel, meant largely for Muslim students. The hostel superintendent, Anis Akhtar, has been asked to take suitable action against the dozen and odd culprits who beat up the revellers and ran away with the TV remote-control after tearing the wire off the socket.

Several hundred students, virtually all of them Muslim, on Monday demanded stringent action against the culprits, against whom an FIR too has been lodged by them. The college campus on Monday was plastered with posters demanding action against ‘criminals’.

“Though most of us were supporting India, a negligible number were backing Pakistan. We ignored them for most of the match since we wanted to avoid a conflict,” a student said.

However, as soon as India gained the upper hand, Pakistan supporters – numbering around 12 – were up in arms, he recalled.

They severely beat up Hussain, who was later taken to the Calcutta Medical College hospital. The trouble did not end there.

“They switched off the television and snapped the cable connection. Then they started abusing us. Those who protested were severely beaten up,” said another student.

Agitating students demanded eviction of the troublemakers and alleged that Baker hostel, where only students from the minority community stay, had become a den of criminals since many outsiders stay there as guests.

Though there had been some stray incidents of violence earlier in the hostel, tension boiled over after the cricket match.

I don't mean to be against Muslims, but I come from a place where a neighboring town has majority of Muslims (only 4 Hindu households in entire town). They celebrate Pakistan victory over India without impunity. I fail to understand this.

Sports was one forum which I could browse if I didnt want to see the usual Hindu-Muslim-Dalit shit.

Not now.

The chaddis and the jehadis and the dalits have intruded. .

A request if you care to listen,
Please start this type of threads outside the sports forum. Atleast till the world cup finishes.

In Ahmedabad, I heard that this time, in muslim localities, even the riot-hit localities, they were bursting crackers after India won. No one knows if they did it out of fear or out of real pride in India. Maybe they just decided to play it safe....buy crackers, if Pakistan wins or India wins, burst them !!
