How to download youtube videos?

There used to be keepvid, but it has stopped. Any way to download videos?

There is an extension in firefox for that. You can also install realplayer which will download not only youtube but other videos too.

when i newly got windows 8, i searched for an app for youtube, but what i got was a youtube downloader app. That is discontinued now.

google "download youtube videos" and use the first result. depends on whether you want the video or audio though... audio download maybe easier.

There is an app called MyMedia-Download Manager which I use on iPhone .. it works for downloading/saving YouTube and Facebook videos...
