Making dosas to The Monkees
Believe me when I say that The Monkees have their songs crafted to make the perfect dosas. Every song is exactly the time you need to make the most wonderful dosa. Here's a quick way to enjoy both... yes, The Monkees and some tasty dosas.
Ingredients/setup: * A dabba of ready-made dosa mix * Properly heated tava... set the flames to just-about medium * A nice slightly deep spoon * A brush that you can use for oil * Butter or alu ka baaji (prepared separately... by your spouse) Preparation * Play the album, The Monkees top tracks"... available on youtube... and play this on your favourite iPad or Android device. A bluetooth speaker does wonders to the sound * As "I'm a Believer" starts, spoon out some dosa mix onto the pan and smooth out in a nice circular fashion... till you make a nice disc * Let it heat and enjoy the beautiful song... singing along is the best way * Half-way into the song, use the oil-brush and dab the ends of the dosa * Start picking from the edges. If it sticks, leave alone and keep jabbing at other spots * By 3/4 of the song, the dosa should be easily coming off the pan. Turn it. * By the end of the song, dosa is ready. Remove to a heat-preserving dabba * "Daydream Believer" should have your second dosa ready * "Last Train to Clarksville" and your third dosa is ready * Keep flipping away as the songs play away * Stop when you think you have enough. Stop the dosas... let the songs keep playing, while you enjoy your freshly prepared dosas with some delicious alu-baaji *** Enjoy. Remember, you read this here at echarcha.com

Re: Making dosas to The Monkees
Which Clarksville is that? I've heard the song and lived there for a year.
