Work Permit, Arranged Employment in CANADA

Hi everyone. My name is Deepak Sood and i am from New Delhi,India.
I had applied for immigration to Canada in 2006 under skilled worker category. I have been told that if i get a job offer or Arranged Employment then it is possible for me to immigrate to Canada faster. CAn anyone guide me to find an employer or someone who can get me a job offer. There are a lot of sites from Canada and India, who claim wonders, but i am not so sure. So pls help me resolve this issue.
Regards

Re: Work Permit, Arranged Employment in CANADA

If you have good job in India don't come here.

I have seen even people with PR do very odd job which doesn't matches their qualification

Bank manager (India)-->Secruity guard(Canada)
Doc(home country)--> driving a taxi(Canada)
IAS officer(India))---> working in shopping Mall(Canada)

Don't just migrate because you see grass is more greener here. If you come to Ontario it cost you 1K-2K to get driving license here with min 300 dollar/month in car insurance no matter how much you drove car outside Canada.

don't fall in to - Canada need skilled worker,They Only need drivers and security guard.

you might be able to get visa but get it if you have nice earning job(as it's way expensive than US) forget about getting job after coming here, 200% you will end up doing job which will never match your qualification.

Electrical engineer, graduated from good university works in wallmart's electronics section that is the maximum Canada match the qualification(it is the good case, imagine the worst case now).

Re: Work Permit, Arranged Employment in CANADA

and If you are IT professional only place you can get job is Ottawa which is so expensive that people drive 4-5 hour (to toronto) to buy their grocery it's cheap there.

come only if you are not doing well in india and nothing to loose.

welcome to -40C wind chill with 6-8 month os snowing(up to 400 cm) which is consider as good weather here.
which they don't show in Hindi movie, I don't know why.

Re: Work Permit, Arranged Employment in CANADA

From what I have heard from one member of our site is that medical treatment in Canada is very expensive and scarce. They have 'municipal hospital in India' style 'socialised' medicine. If you have something simple like a cold and cough then you might get 'free' medicare, but for anything more serious, there are folks who come over to USA and get the treatment.

Please check with folks you might know in Canada.

medical system sucks, medical system is controlled by govt so no pvt hospital(unlike USA/India), medicare is free from top level for every one but then you pay huge tax which will kill you.
you have no choice but to wait in queue only life threatning people can see doc in 2-4 hour.

there is more possibility that you can die by viral fever then you can die by bomb explosion in Iraq.

people died because of phnumonia/ some normal diseases, while waiting for doc, they will not even give you antiboitic till you about to die and lucky enough to see the doc.

it's just like if delhi have AIIMS and you have to go there only, you don't have to pay for doc but looooooooooong queue.

and You have to pay for drugs which is expensive any way.
