Well, it all starts with advertising... or more truthfully, false advertising. Nobody knows god/s, the after-life, heaven... or hell. It is like selling a product before it is even made. The marketing team is busy 24-hours... trying to create a package that is irresistible. And you know what... you look for 1 chewtiya... and you will find a thousand. Man is a chewtiya from the day s/he is born... nay, conceived.

So you are being sold something... there is a want in your heart... there is frustration and contempt with what you have now... and so you go and get it. Then you see that it is not what was advertised... no different or usually much worse than what you had... and you dream of ghar-wapasi... you have ghar-wapasi on your mind (similar to how JT had Carolina on his mind).

Let me tell you a story... we had an old clunker of a dishwasher. Noisy but did the job. It was used day in and day out. Then my wife says we should get a new one... looked around and we fell for all the latest gadgetry. Got an expensive, 6-cycle, 1-hour, stainless steel, this and that dishwasher. Installed it and there was smiles all around. Awaaz hi nahi karta... hamara bartan un ke bartan se saaf... this and that. A few weeks later, she started missing the old one. It did such a good job. The new one doesn't clean all the way... there are marks left... soap left... stains left. Oh, why did we ditch our ol' faithful? Why oh why? True story.

No one appointed you as caretaker of religion.
Hinduism has survived, thrived and will continue to do so because its a way of life. Yes some follow it with lot of emphasis on worshipping different deities and gods.

All this nonsense about conversion to Hindu etc is political nonsense.

for census figures only. If I remember correctly, he faced issues wanting to enter Jagannath Puri Temple (because only Hindus are permitted there).

Checked on this too.
It is actually Puri Jagannadh (maker of Budha hoga tera baap besides a lot of gult movies) who was planning to join YSR congress.

Else, YSR's Son in law is an evangelist.

His Son, YS Jaganmohan had controversy when he walked into Tirupati seeking Lord Venkateswara's blessings, but did not sign the declaration meant to be signed by non hindus and was alleged to be wearing chappals.
