Maybe your black ink nozzle is jammed.

You should always buy new ink cartridges instead of having them refilled which sometimes can destroy your printer as well ... IMHO.

Easy ... find hole in the bottom and suck on it hard.

Depends on the type of printer really. Most HP printers have the ink nozzles as part of the cartridge, so if you had a blocked nozzle on an HP printer, all you need is a new cartridge. Epsons on the other hand have the nozzles separated from the cartridge, so if you don't use the printer for a while, the ink can dry up in the nozzle and jam it. The printer utility that comes with an Epson actually has an unclogging function, but it doesn't always work. I used to own an Epson printer and I got a new HP, because I didn't want to deal with unclogging the printer manually. In general, for most brands, you can generally unclog the nozzle using Windex or aftershave cologne or hot water

LB ... if it is printer forget it ... better buy or steal a new one .

If it is ink cartridge you can suck on the hole to suck out dried stuff or prick it.
