Re: "Secular" news thread
Heard about this from my folks and wanted to check on it.
Link Authorities detained on Monday about 30 Osmania University students who were planning to hold a run in support of a controversial beef festival they have organised for December 10. The police action was aimed at defusing tensions that have swirled since a group of students announced the feast in protest against several BJP-ruled states in recent months enforcing and enhancing long-dormant laws imposing prohibitions on cattle slaughter and beef trade. The situation escalated when some rival students at the Hyderabad-based university declared that on the same day they would hold a pork festival and rituals to worship the cow, which is considered sacred by many Hindus, while BJP legislator T Raja Singh Lodh vowed to disrupt the beef fest “at any cost”

Re: "Secular" news thread
Zee News covered this Malda news yesterday saying we were requested to show it by many Indians on social media, and that nobody else had daring to show it.
Here's another one.. |

A normal human would not debate on whether it's right for a male to marry a female few decades younger than himself. At the most, a normal human might say there may be some reason behind such an act but a such a man CLEARLY does not deserve to be idolized. However, peacefuls will give all sorts of arguments to defend their twisted belief. From her "unknown age" to "early puberty in those times" to "his superior male prowess" to "her protection". Many peacefuls consider aurangzeb a hero knowing very well that he tortured & murdered his brother & father. Normal humans lookup to those who shun violence and taught compassion & forgiving (eg. Buddha, ashoka, nanak or even Christ) but peacefuls consider savages as heroes. In their paradigm, the savagery is invisible. Or it appears as compassion. It's a different paradigm where a normal human would suffocate to mental death. But peacefuls feel liberated since they have been systematically pushed into that "dead" paradigm. Jis thali mein khana usi mein ched karna seems logical in that paradigm.

Re: "Secular" news thread
Media is presenting the news like "son of an innocent wrongfully hanged man has come out with flying colors inspite of those odds". The boy has himself refrained from making any sickular statements which is appreciable. Best wishes to him

ROP is devoid of any spirituality and is all about physicality - physical power, physical readiness etc. If she has his hit puberty, she is physically ready. This is right & scientific. Whether she is mentally ready or not, is out of premise of ROP (because ROP is all about physicality)

Re: "Secular" news thread
Sorry, you are incorrect here. That applies when a divorce is taking place... specific rules of how long before the woman can remarry. But marriage itself has no age-limit, puberty gaya baad mein. The peaceful hero himself married a girl of 6 years... thus setting a magnificent precedence to all pedos. And then we have one of the biggest peaceful leaders (Khomeini himself) who brought that age down to a few months-old baby (do not remember the exact number of months, but that is readily available on google).

Re: "Secular" news thread
^^I meant "she is ready for motherhood".
I dot know much but peacefuls say he married at whatever age and consummated it when she hit puberty. They say her age is "not documented" or "girls in those times were physically different" or some such ridiculous argument to defend. They don't want to understand that an ideal man should have done better than marrying someone who was at least few decades younger to him.

Re: "Secular" news thread
Modi has united Hindus in Assam, it is time for minorities to unite, AIUDF's Maulana Badruddin Ajmal
GUWAHATI: What is seen as an attempt to polarize Hindu-Muslim votes ahead of 2016 assembly polls, chief of All India United Democratic Front ( AIUDF) Maulana Badruddin Ajmal comment that Hindus in Assam have united after the Prime minister; Narendra Modi's visit to Assam on January 19 has stirred controversy. Ajmal in a rally on Friday said that minorities in Assam must unite. "Hindus have united after Modi's visit to Assam, it time for the minorities to unite. We, the minorities must stand united and fight against it or else we will lose our existence in Assam." An FIR is filed in a police station in Guwahati against Ajmal. BJP has demanded arrest of Ajmal under National Security Act. BJP MP and former union minister Bijoya Chakraborty countered and said Ajmal has proved that he is the Sardar (boss) of Bangladeshis. BJP MP added, "Ajmal has prepared a blueprint for communal violence between the Hindus and the Muslims ahead of election in the state. But he must remember Assam is known for its secular image. The DGP Assam earlier said efforts are on in the social media to unite the Muslims and join the ISIS. I suspect if Ajmal is playing a role here. He is uniting the Muslims against the Hindus. Assam government should take strong note of the design." She added that Assam never had any communal riot. "Ajmal, the so-called leader of the Muslims, is hatching a plot. Ajmal should be arrested. Assam is a sensitive state and his utterances could be the reason for communal passion ahead of polls." Assam Pradesh congress committee President Anjan Dutta condemned Ajmal's remark and said Ajmal has lost mental balance.
