Re: Whats that one food that you hated but it was made at home time and again when growing up?
kabhi try nahi kiya.. I feel a puking sensation just from the taste, texture, even the smell of this stuff.
But you know moms have a way around these things. I ate pav bhaji happily till this one day I saw mom putting lauki in it. She said something like it was a good run, you ate it without knowing for years. Last edited by sarv_shaktimaan; November 3rd, 2016 at 08:37 PM. |

Re: Whats that one food that you hated but it was made at home time and again when growing up?
Well, I do not know the exact recipe... but here are some general guidelines,
1. Wash bhindi and dry completely 2. Fry bhindi, lightly or extra crisp... your choice 3. Do the usual onion/tomato/masala base 4. Mix in some curds and make a smooth paste 5. Add the bhindi 6. Let cook for some time 7. Enjoy Note: Play some good music while cooking... and yes, have some nice sweet wine ![]() For exact measures and cooking details, google for 'Dahi wala bhindi'
