The Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion

Has anyone heard of this?

Egyptian TV drama opposed by Jewish groups has many advertisers
CAIRO - Egypt state television, resisting pressure from the U.S. government and Jewish groups, plans to launch a controversial TV series ``Horseman Without A Horse'' at midnight on Nov. 6 -- the first night of the holy month of Ramadan.

Neither Egyptian Television Channel 2 nor local media buyers were willing to say Wednesday morning which advertisers would be airing commercials when the program airs at midnight.

A Channel 2 director says there are ``many'' advertisers.

The plot for the 30-part series is drawn from the 19th century tract published in Czarist Russia called the ``Protocols of the Elders of Zion'' and is universally regarded in the West as an anti-Semitic forgery. The Protocols alleged that there is a worldwide Jewish conspiracy to take control of the world.

The TV series features Egyptian actor and screenwriter Mohammed Sobhi, who acknowledges the series draws from the Protocols but denies that it is anti-Jewish. "I do not produce artistic works to discuss religion. I know there is a great difference between Zionism as an idea and the Jewish religion," said Mr. Sobhi.

Set in the mid-19th and early 20th century, the actor plays Hafez Naguib, an Egyptian who symbolizes the struggle against Egypt's British occupation.

The U.S. Embassy said the Protocols is an "incendiary document" and that it had conveyed "concerns to the Egyptian government" over the program.

Egypt Information Minister Safwat El-Sherif defended the programming, saying Egypt media policy respects "all monotheistic religions on an equal footing."

there is a thread somewhere about this american group of polygamists. men can have an unlimited number of wives and end up abusing their own daughters. i think they are mormons.

the father "initiates" the daughter when she reaches puberty. they are the most vile of human beings, i tell you.

I have read a bit about the elders of zion. Mostly it has been dismissed as an antisemitic propoganda.

As for Diploma's question. I don't think it has anything to do with Jews or a particular religion, but I have read about these laws in certain societies, called the Prima Nocte laws, where the father or the king had the first right to deflower the girl on her wedding night. There are a few stories from Shakeperean era where they have shown weddings being conducted in secret to avoid this. However, these are primitive, age old customs which have nothing to do with today's times.

Well no story would be complete about Caligula without explicit sex acts (he aparantly even practiced incest and kept his sister as his mistress until she died!!) and gore and blood. He was very cruel..

It is a historical movie, but produced by Bob Guccione of Penthouse! Tho history ke saath Geography (TOP ography) aur biology bhi hai!

It would say it is XX rated!
