Question So have you seen Star Wars Episode 3? How is it?

Our team is going for this movie next week. Why? Well, after every product release we go for a lunch and some activity like pool or bowling or a movie.

So this time, a couple of my team mates are all fired up about Star Wars. Now I have not seen this movie series. I have watched, maybe 20 minutes of this movie many years ago on TV.

What should I expect out of this? From fans of this movie series, can you predict or review if this is a good one compared to previous movies?

Re: So have you seen Star Wars Episode 3? How is it?

Watched it last night. Will see it once more soon. In one word "Awesome"

echarchans who are into sci-fi and star wars will not be disappointed like Episode II did. I would rank it at #3 in all 6 episodes.

Re: So have you seen Star Wars Episode 3? How is it?

Not yet, but will do in a week or two s soon as I get time.

But can not wait for DVD release to add in my home theater collection. I don't "collect" dvds, but only I love and worth watching on my home theater. Movies like this and Indiana Jones rocks the whole house......

Have seen all 4,5 and 6 episodes abt 8-9 times each and 1 and 2 abt 4 times.

So lets see......when....

Re: So have you seen Star Wars Episode 3? How is it?

I tried watching the previous two episodes and didn't really understand all the fuss

Will I enjoy them more if I watched the originals with Harrison Ford first?

Disclaimer: I am not big into sci-fi movies.

Question Re: So have you seen Star Wars Episode 3? How is it?

I missed the second episode which was shown on one of the NBC, CBS or ABC channels last night.

So will it help if I just watch Episode 1 and 2 before seeing 3 or should I see 4 , 5 and 6 first?

Anyway, I will go with my team and hope I enjoy the movie.

Definately worth a see not just once. But i recommend seeing it in a theatre with a DLP projection screen. The clarity and effects on that screen were absolutely amazing.

Unfortunately in northern VA, there is only one theatre with DLP projection, but its worth the wait.

No Desi, this one is the Merrifield Multiplex on Lee Highway (29), quite close to Prosperity Ave and Gallows Road. The next one is the Regal in Georgetown.

Trust me, its worth the wait to see it on the DLP screen.

No problem. I beleive that even War of the Worlds is going to be out on DLP too. I dunno whether the Merrifield Multiplex will cut its Star Wars shows to facilitate War of the Worlds. That movie looks cool too. This summer is gonna have some nice movies out. Batman begins and Mr and Mrs Smith are also on my list.

Re: So have you seen Star Wars Episode 3? How is it?

Our team had gone for Star Wars Episode 3.. We just got back...

Ha ha ha ha ah ah ah ahhaaaa haaa This was a real "revenge of the SHIT!! "

I have NOT seen ANY part of this whole 6 part movie series. I have seen about 20 minutes or so of Star Wars Part 1 (I mean the first in the series released long ago)

Today's movie explained the whole story - a totally Hindi masala movie with emotion, action, melodrama and all that.

I will review it later...
