Do you use activity tracker?

Sitting in front of computer all day can be bad for health no? And on top of that we are not getting much running or walking in USA.

Activity trackers are very popular these days. They are a step ahead of pedometers, these devices can track steps, floors climbed, sleep activity, even heart rate, etc.

I have a fitbit charge that I'm using to track my exercise. Apple watches, and phones also track this info. It helps to set goals and even compete with friends.

Here's a list:

Re: Do you use activity tracker?

I used fitness pal app for the longest time and then when we bought Fitbit, I just synced it with the app. That's pretty much it. Don't want to let it become an addiction.

Re: Do you use activity tracker?

It helps you be more active, the guy who almost forced me to buy it, eats fried chicken almost every day , and btw that guy is not me but my friend.

I red this article on how bad fitbit is, this is like saying gym is bad because I have gymmed too much and now my body aches.

I tried Fitbit for a month, and taking it off was the best decision I've made

Re: Do you use activity tracker?

How you know then how your partner fared against you? How you can boast on soshal media that you run 8 miles every day in summer? By competing we excel and make exercise a fun activity, rathan reducing it to a humdrum affair like a guinea pig on a treadmill. Wait ! or is that a common man stuck in rat race?
