Do you like cold food? I am unable to follow despite many attempts the north american style of eating and drinking everything cold.

I am having some chicken biriyani today, so I can sleep after lunch. Its friday, time to start slowing down everything except the traffic.

I do like cold food as much I like warm/hot food. Usually cold cut sandwiches during lunch time do provide a satisfying meal for me many a time. Of course in winters I go for soup/roast etc.

Usually Indian food during supper.

Good for you, adaptation is a good survival skill. I refuse to eat cold cuts unless there is no option.

The cold cuts, no, as I said I tried but it was completely devoid of any flavor. And not fresh either, cut and refrigerated long ago.

Salads I can do for lunch but I'm hungry again in one hour, so need something warm and filling.

Yesterday in a TV ad one lady was complaining how she was unable to drink ice chilled water, her teeth had sensation, she used sensodyne for few months and now all good. I am thinking why even drink that super chilled water?

Re: What's in Lunch Today?

I can't drink very cold water myself.
I like my cold cut meats in sandwiches. Usually it comes with fairly good cheese, little but of spread and soup/salad depending on whether its summer or winter.
The day I eat something thing heavier for like pizza/rice, I keep yawning all through the afternoon.

Not exactly raw, cold cuts or lunch meats are pre-cooked and sliced very thing like potato chips thickness. Some are smoked, etc, easy for grab and go and quick consumption.

Exactly.

No Swami, cold cuts don't mean raw meat. You could die eating raw chicken.

Re: What's in Lunch Today?

A very different view presented to me by a 'peaceful' manager who has no problems with non-halal, he doesn't like to eat meats in most non-Indian cuisines, like grilled chicken breast in a burger. The chicken feels like raw or too unseasoned to him, and above all he is used to eating chicken/meats in smaller pieces than chewing pieces off from a big piece of meat. And this guy eats meat in almost every meal, but now because of this issue he is vegetarian when eating out.

Here's your answer, as swami is saying its all about what one is used to and won't feel satisfaction without it. Like, I have to eat rice using my fingers.
