Lose some weight people !

How much do you weigh? Lets lose a few pounds in a week .... I think i am getting fat n i need to lose some weight

Dude you are severely underweight. You should weigh at-least 213 kg. Please start eating a pound of butter, a tub of ice cream, followed by Parathas topped with desi ghee for breakfast everyday. 170lbs.. i lost 10-15 lbs in the last 4 mths or so just by running for 30 mins on a treadmill on alternate days (no exercise on the wknds)

and oh.. i also cut out rice at night and just have rotis/subzi for dinner.

I cannot keep balance running on treadmill ... so I start with 5 min walk at 10% incline and about 25/40 minutes at 30% incline ... at such incline almost semsem as running. I am trying to gain 25/35lbs ... started about 10 days ago at 123lbs ... have gained 7lbs so far. Now ... what you waiting for? GET BUSY ... eat. EAT.


In about 8 days ... I seem to have added about 6/8 inches to upper body measurements including arms ... good ... but I need to see trainer again this week end because waist (at navel) and hips (at widest) have lost almost 3-4 inches, no good ... don't like ... cannot seem to make her understand that I am not trying to look like weight lifter or body builder. I am just trying to gain lean mass muscles and not fat. To reach 170lbs ... I don't mind upper body muscles but definitely will not want waist under 34inches and hips under 36 inches. I don't want V shaped body. I am too old for all that bullshit.

I take 50gm of Whey Protein Powder ... shake it in about 300ml of full cream milk ... drink before, during, and after work out. Seem to be working ... I think so. I work with treadmill, dumbbells, and some sort of elaborate machine with all the cables running through it, sort of mini-gym.

Soniyaji ... I surely appreciate caution but least you can is give us a clue ... you are between 20 to 30? ... you are 31 to 40? Yes ... you ought to be concerned if below 20. Above ... don't worry too much ... nature intended women to be slightly heavier than men. Don't fret over it. Cut down on red meat and naans.

I never had weight problem except when on vacations when I tend to gain as many as 15/20 lbs ... work environment is such that all gains disappeared in matter of days or few weeks without any effort on my part. Now I am trying to gain.

why don't you post photos so these our machos can offer to you to help to you? Face covered, I need not add. You start and I will post weekly photos of my upper body ... transformation from 125 lb weakling to intended (God willing ... keeping fingers crossed) 170 lbs of incredible hulk ...

Cutting rice is cumbersome and time consuming. Try 'Tukda Basmati'--and for exercise, try 'not using the remote' for your TV.

Its a well known tip - not mine but Einstein's.. Try running/moving as closer to the SoL as possible.. Atleast your mass will increase.. Donno abt the weight..

I reduced 6 KGs in 2 months of normal half an hour walking daily in the evenings.

I feel better & fresh now ..............
