Fear Files

Does anyone watch this serial? It comes on Zee TV on weekends.
Channel claims these are true stories of ghosts. Not only they claim it but also have one of the concerned family members narrate the story.Because of that it really seems authentic.
People (like me and many others) who never believed in ghosts are now having to re-think about the existence of paranormal creatures.
Can this be considered to be authentic? Haven't found anything on net that would suggest otherwise.

Then they also have their paranormal expert Veenu Sandal explain the happenings in the episode. That is the most scary part and Veenu Sandal looks more horrifying than the ghost itself.

Re: Fear Files

Horror series are now on FM also.Last week's few episodes were real scary

Fever FM brings horror series with ‘Kya Woh Sach Tha’

The radio drama is inspired by real life stories that are possibly the most eerie, spine-chilling supernatural stories

Fever 104 FM which has been redefining the radio listening experience is all set to do it again. For the first time, the station is bringing horror series on air with ‘Kya Who Sach Tha’. The radio drama is inspired by real life stories and is a collection of possibly the most eerie, spine-chilling extraordinary supernatural stories of the ‘unseen’.

The story line revolves around the main character, Dr Nagar, who is a para-psychologist by profession and a fan of the human mind and stories he comes across in his daily life. The radio series will see him take Fever listeners through one unique story every day.

The launch episode has the story of a Mumbai-based boy, Anuj Joshi, who never believed in supernatural powers, till he experienced an incident on the Mumbai-Pune highway. His car ran out of fuel in heavy rains on the lonely highway and he met an old man who offered him a lift till the nearest petrol station. The story later tells how Anuj finds out that the old man was dead four years back and his spirit connected with Anuj to take forward a message to a loved one.

Harshad Jain, Business Head, Radio & Entertainment, HT Media, said, “Fever has pioneered the idea of radio dramas in the industry and with such innovations we are trying to strengthen the concept of appointment listening. The genre is extremely gripping and has done very well on other mediums, and we are sure that it will be a huge success on radio as well. ‘Kya Who Sach Tha’ is also intended to capitalising the night band which is underutilised at the moment. This is the time band when listeners are receptive to listening content and what better than horror for this hour.”
The new radio drama has 20 episodes and will be telecast Monday to Friday at 11 PM. The series will be promoted through a 360 degree media which includes print, radio, outdoors and online.

lol
That is the problem with this serial - they have made it really authentic .
Personally I find it classier than any other horror serial I have seen so far.

Re: Fear Files

The episodes are only of 15mins each, but the screenplay is so good that you feel that you are at the scene.
