Re: What book are you all reading?

Jab se yeh,… TV, VHS, DVD, Net, Cable vision, rent dvd and Hulu, Netflix, ka season suru hoyela,. Apoon ke kitaabein padhna tab se, kab ka chhod jo diya hoyela hai !!,…

Yess,.. “Chhod aaye Hum who galiyaan ! “

Sallah,….. padho,.. deemaag ki batti jalaavo,… deemaag ko jor laage,… to convert the words into the graphics and feeding to the ‘mental screen’ for creating a running picture out of it,…. and such,….

Too much labour work,… Not me !

Just quit that freaking business, long ago,.. after reading those Madho-singh and Chambal ke Daku’s books a long, long ago,….

Recently,… after a lot of publicity and popularity been heard,… I was ever attracted first times to read Chetan Bhagat’s 3-5 popular books,. So searched in library catalog,… one brought home, just for the taste and essence,…. For the hack of it,.. after all what it is all-about ? and,… needless to say,…it was hundred percent exaggeration and also cent percent disappointment simultaneously,.. language as such a rubbish like ay 5th grader book writer,… a half pound of weight short story book filled with 20 pound of shitt in it,…
And,…… now have decided.,.. you make movies and then perhaps I may or may not may watch your shitt,… but NO to those garbage book,.. does not matter you write
half GF or 1.5X GF,…… It’s all shit just like CB’s sheedy-shitt movies,..

CB is a maha- gelsappa, a modern-age ‘s so called fake writer , I ever saw or read any,… !

Re: What book are you all reading?

Just started reading 'Kitne Pakistan' by Kamleshwar (he wrote many movies like Andhi, Mausam, Rajnigandha, Chhoti si baat, etc and TV serials Chandrakanta, etc).. he won Sahitya Akademy award for this book in 2003. I ordered the book via amazon.in to my parents place who brought it along when they came over for a couple months.

I'm disappointed I bought this book.. Kamleshwar, if alive, would have been part of the Award wapsi drama. Just reading first 10 pages has made it clear how he's in the same old mould of commie-congressi writers.. anyhow, I'll try to finish the damn book.

^^
He used to host shows in DD during 70s and 80s. Won't have been doing that if he was not pro congress. It is another matter that he might have switched loyalties, but didn't seem to have.

Wikied this book. Looks like Midnights children would have been better. The movie was on Netflix.

In the first chapter the Kargil War breaks out .. the main character being an editor in a newspaper, he pens an open letter to PM (calls him kaamchalau Vajpayee) and Defense Minister (useless and makes worthless statements George Fernandez) .. also mentions Brajesh Mishra's interview on Star News.. a whole lot of BS saying they intentionally sat on their asses to let Pakistanis creep in within LOC.

He's perturbed about Jagjit Singh singing Vajpayee's poems among other things..

Re: What book are you all reading?

One of the many awesome reasons of living in a friendly neighborhood is - on a gorgeous morning, like today, when you're out for a run; you come across people giving away greatttttt books "lay down my sword and shield" by James Lee Burke ... Weekend read, it is

Re: What book are you all reading?

Read the book on Kargil war by Gen Malik.

I had a tough time visualising the geo of the area and without that it was tough to comprehend the situation there.
