Predictions for 2009

Here are my predictions for 2009, which I posted on Dec 31st, 2008 somewhere else.

My predictions for 2009!

- Geopolitical tensions will increase dramatically.
- India - Pakistan will have a "proxy" war and will come close to an all-out war. This will become a global story
- BJP will win the elections without a clear majority and will form a coalition govt.
- Ashfab Kayani will launch a coup and seize control of Pakistan
- Pakistan will disintegrate or will reach the brink of disintegration by the end of the year. US will work to seize control of their nuclear arsenal.
- India will face acts of terror and communal strife

- The financial crisis of 2008 will play itself out and bottom out (nominally) in 2009.
- There will be more bankruptcies and bailouts, globally.
- Globally, the financial crisis will morph into an economic crisis and more importantly, a currency crisis. Several countries, like Russia, Argentina, etc - will face a balance of payment crisis.
- Global trade will reduce dramatically. The US trade deficit will shrink.
- In India, IT / BPO outsourcing will suffer from the downturn. There will be consolidation across this industry. INR will fall considerably and Indian interest rates will rise, further aggrevating domestic problems.
- Job losses will become rampant. This, in turn, will bring down real estate and retailers.

- Central banks and governments will aggressively attempt to reflate the economy. This will support asset prices, increase volatility and spawn inflation.
- Gold, oil and other commodities will rise later this year. Gold will assert it's status as a global reserve currency.
- Only two set of people will make money in stock markets - those who trade smartly and those with astral blessing. Unfortunately, you are neither smart nor do your stars look favorable.

Re: Predictions for 2009

What are predictions based on? Tell tell?

I am well versed in horoscope reading/making and I DO NOT do predictions while I can do it with the data from horoscopes cos they tell me just exactly what they tell any other ass-trologer.. I have been asked gazillion times to tell my predictions as I know all forms of horoscopes viz north Indian, south Indian ex kerala, Kerala (which is different from other south Indian form) and East Indian. There is another form which is vedic format which no body uses these days. I do not base it on panchang but use western observed values for the planets/stars and then use a forumlas to get their present position which is more accurate. But even then I do not predict. It is just for fun I do that. I have given a small demo to badri pai a few days/weeks ago. And those were not done using calculators or precise data.. just huristic assumptions and extrapolations.. exact data might be different by give or take a few but turns out I did impress badri pai..

All said. My question is what is PREDICTION based upon.. you give me the answer and then if interested, I will show you why it is all a big chewtiyaapa and why I not indulge in it. (I will keep it as my last resort for lively hood.. India mein chewtiyon ki kami thodi na hai).

Re: Predictions for 2009

If you want to test me.. go right ahead.. I will give you your horoscope in matrix form for example 1 2 3 next line 1 2 3 next line 123 etc.. you draw those lines as in your horoscope and match it. draw a box around it and you have it. Give me your DOB, Place of birth, time (am/pm or 24 hour format) and I will give you that with a little bit of impressions of mine as OTHER astrologer would mot probably give you based on that data.

Go ahead I am game.. and you will have to give me a bit of time for calcs.. I cannot just see it and start bullshitting.. I bullshit only after due diligence.

Re: Predictions for 2009

Disclaimer: I learnt all this for shits and giggles and so do not believe in it myself. It is your choice to believe it or not. My calcs will be in most cases perfect.

You have quoted within quotes and now I can't quote you.

Okay...Pakistan is in tatters and Pakistani nuclear arsenal is covertly under US control. I know it because Shruti_ks sent me pm validating it. Just kidding...but there is enough indicators to believe that US has substantial oversight on Pakistani nuclear arsenal.

As far as how the financial crises played out, my predictions were on the money. I may have been too early, but the trend was absolutely correct.

There is big difference between TRADE DEFICIT and BUDGET DEFICIT. The shutdowns are a result of budget deficits and not trade deficits. US Trade Deficit has reduced dramatically since I posted this thread.
